You Probably Didn't Know You Can Use Alexa on Windows

I haven't heard it talked about much, but it is possible to use Alexa on your Windows machine. Well, it used to be. Amazon had this app for Windows for years, until they discontinued it about one or two years ago. Sorry, I don't have precise info.

But even though it's officially discontinued, you can still download and use it. I've tested it on Windows 11, and it works fine. It's not the most usable app in town as far as for screen readers, but with NVDA Object Navigation and equivalents, you can manage.

While you can use the basic features of Alexa, there are a few limitations to keep in mind:
